Office Administrator JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The Office Administrator will provide administrative and clerical support to the Senior Pastor. He/She is responsible for the “day to day” clerical functions of the church office. He/She must maintain a positive attitude and be gracious and courteous when interacting with congregants and others served by the church office. He/She must be sensitive to the needs of those whom the church serves and protect the reputation and integrity of those served through strict confidentiality. He/she must demonstrate a high level of trust. He/She must act in accordance with written policies established by the church and the Senior Pastor.
The Office Administrator will:
The Senior Pastor will manage the Church Office Administrator. The Office Administrator will demonstrate a willingness to develop a comprehensive understanding of the church he/she serves and a willingness to receive additional training as necessary. He/She will be a cooperative team member.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS, AND KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with a professional and personable demeanor who thrives in a challenging and multi-faceted environment.
Preferred candidates will have the following experience:
Formal secretarial training desired but not necessary
